DR. ANISSA SHORT

As a business coach and advocate for the home-based entrepreneur, Anissa uses her platforms as a speaker, contributing writer, podcast host, and international best-selling author to educate, encourage and empower others representing in the home-based business industry.   

As a home-based entrepreneur since 1999, she has built an organization within the Direct Sales Industry that includes clients and business colleagues within several states.  By way of summits and workshops hosted to support women in business, she is known as an influencer and collaborator passionate about creating winning teams. 

Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Anissa worked in the fields of Sales, Banking, and Finance and approximately twelve years with the Federal Government.  While gainfully employed within each sector, she served as a mentor and trainer locally, state-wide, or regionally.  In addition to her professional endeavors, Anissa served as a Board Member of two non-profit organizations that addressed the concerns of women and families in crisis.

Anissa's educational background includes a BBA, MBA, and Ph.D. in the areas of Business and Administration. She is also a certified Christian life coach and has been happily married to Alphonso since 1998.
